# Channel Points: Creator Guide

Reward viewers for watching your streams and supporting your channel with Channel Points. Set earning rules and subscription multipliers, check your channel rankings, and run Predictions during your streams.

Channel Points are earned separately for each creator. Look for the diamond icon beside the points balance.

### Set your channel's earning rules

#### Open Channel Points settings

Sign in to your creator account and go to **My Channel → Channel Points** to manage your channel's earning rules.

Platform defaults apply to earning conditions you have not configured. Saving a custom rule changes that rule for your channel only. It does not change other channels or the platform defaults.

#### Set amounts and earning limits

1. Find the **Earning Condition** you want to change.
2. Enter the **Amount per Award**. This is the base amount before subscription multipliers.
3. Choose a **Limit Period** and **Maximum per Viewer**. Select **Unlimited** if no limit is needed.
4. Compare your settings with the defaults shown below the fields.
5. Click **Save** in that row.

| Setting | Description |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Amount per Reward | Points awarded each time the condition is met. Enter a whole number of at least 1. |
| Limit Period | The period used to count rewards: daily, weekly, monthly, or all time. |
| Maximum per Viewer | The maximum number of times each viewer can earn this reward during the selected period. This is not a channel-wide limit. |
| Unlimited | Removes the earning limit for this reward. The period and count fields are disabled. |
| Status and Save | Shows whether the rule uses default or custom settings and lets you save that row. |

For example, a daily limit of two rewards lets each viewer receive that reward up to twice a day. If the base amount is 200 points, the daily maximum is 400 points before multipliers.

Changes take effect only after you click **Save**. Edited fields are highlighted in light blue, and unsaved changes are indicated. If you edit several rules, save each row separately. **Reload** does not save your changes. Check for unsaved edits before using it.

**Using Defaults** and **Using Custom Settings** describe the rule currently in effect. Saving custom values that match the defaults does not restore automatic use of the default policy.

#### Available earning conditions

* **Free Subscription:** A reward when a new free subscription takes effect.
* **Live Donation:** A reward for standard text or roulette donations made with coins.
* **Automatic Watch Rewards:** Points awarded automatically as eligible watch time accumulates.
* **Claimable Watch Rewards:** Points viewers claim by clicking the gift box after meeting the watch requirement.
* **Paid Subscription Payment:** A reward after a successful new subscription or automatic renewal payment.
* **Video or File Purchase:** A reward after a successful paid content purchase.

Consider both the amount and the earning limit. Frequent watch rewards and monthly subscription payments occur at different intervals.

### Set subscription tier multipliers

<figure><img src="https://887091347-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWZ2iWAPtBWVHYoDD4Mt6%2Fuploads%2FTrZTL7SY1QZ40hXyUKl6%2FScreenshot%202026-10-22%20at%201.43.16%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=b0240ce6-b545-49e0-ac51-20ce55daaa16" alt="" width="300"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Open **Subscription Settings** on your creator channel.
2. In **Edit Subscription Tiers**, select the paid tier you want to configure.
3. Select a **Channel Points Multiplier**.
4. Click **Save** and check the updated setting.

Available multipliers are **×1.0, ×1.2, and ×1.5**. The default is ×1.0. If a viewer subscribes to multiple paid tiers, only the highest multiplier applies. Multipliers do not stack.

For example, a base reward of 100 points becomes 150 points with a ×1.5 multiplier. Subscription multipliers do not apply to **Past Channel Points**.

### Check Channel Point rankings

Select **Channel Point Rankings** in your channel's ranking section to view the top 20 viewers by **All Time**, **Today**, **This Week**, or **This Month**.

Rankings use points earned, rather than viewers' current balances. Periods use Korea Standard Time (KST). Weeks begin on Monday. Past Channel Points count toward the all-time ranking only, not the daily, weekly, or monthly activity rankings.

Viewers claim Past Channel Points directly from your channel. This is a one-time reward per channel, calculated from eligible paid subscription months before the current month and eligible content purchases made before the claim. You do not need to award these points individually.

### Create a Prediction

Manage Predictions under **RPLAY Donation → Creator → Predictions**. This is separate from the Channel Points earning rules in your creator channel.

<figure><img src="https://887091347-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWZ2iWAPtBWVHYoDD4Mt6%2Fuploads%2F6h1j16QHKXWgQI0OzowG%2FScreenshot%202026-10-22%20at%201.48.34%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=79fc6db0-df83-45f1-9ccd-44a404017085" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Enter the question and outcomes

1. Click **Create Prediction**.
2. Enter a **Question** whose outcome can be determined during the stream.
3. Enter the **Outcomes**. Use **Add Outcome** to add more, or **`×`** beside an outcome to remove it.
4. Select the **Participation Window.**
5. Check the question in the **Banner Preview**.
6. Review the question and outcomes, then click **Start Prediction**.

Questions can contain up to **80 characters**. Add **2–10 outcomes**, with up to **40 characters per outcome**. Outcomes cannot be blank or duplicated.

The participation window is the time viewers have to submit points. It is separate from any deadline in your question. For example, if the question is “Will I finish within 10 minutes?” and the entry period is two minutes, viewers can enter during the first two minutes. You determine the result of the challenge separately.

> You cannot edit the question or outcomes after starting a Prediction. State the deadline and success criteria clearly in the question and explain them during the stream. Only one Prediction can be active per channel, including a Prediction still being settled.

### Close entries and confirm the result

Run a Prediction in this order: **Open entries → Close entries → Select the actual outcome → Confirm the result → Check settlement**. Closing entries and confirming the result are separate actions.

<figure><img src="https://887091347-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWZ2iWAPtBWVHYoDD4Mt6%2Fuploads%2FTLpEm5UMmvLQmbjGEQO4%2FScreenshot%202026-10-22%20at%201.51.29%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=d10d6f06-e5c8-49fc-997c-6f544caa6a00" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Close entries

Click **Close Participation**, then confirm by clicking it again in the confirmation area. No new entries will be accepted.

New entries are also blocked when the entry period expires. If the management screen asks you to close entries before confirming the result, complete that step first.

#### Select and confirm the actual outcome

1. Check what actually happened during the stream.
2. On the **Awaiting Result** screen, select the correct outcome.
3. Click **Confirm Selected Outcome**.
4. Check the final outcome in the confirmation area, then click **Confirm Result**.

Selecting an outcome alone does not finalize it. Completing the final confirmation starts settlement. You can no longer change the result or cancel the Prediction. Percentages show each outcome's share of submitted points, not whether it is correct.

<figure><img src="https://887091347-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWZ2iWAPtBWVHYoDD4Mt6%2Fuploads%2FhydOVKQoTMOrrkYfAfeE%2FScreenshot%202026-10-22%20at%201.52.52%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=6a8674c4-454f-4cd5-8e7c-1a12cae41787" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Check settlement

After confirming the result, check **Overall Settlement Status**. Click **Refresh** to retrieve the latest status.

<figure><img src="https://887091347-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWZ2iWAPtBWVHYoDD4Mt6%2Fuploads%2FsvM6rXVF1jxiLKYqm5N6%2FScreenshot%202026-10-22%20at%202.27.22%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=19651e03-f643-44da-9b17-a32c87153109" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Total Participants / Total Points Entered:** The overall participation in this Prediction.
* **Settlement Progress:** Participants whose payout, refund, or unsuccessful entry has been processed. This is not the number of participants who received points.
* **Total Paid / Total Refunded:** Points paid or refunded so far.
* **Undistributed Remaining Points:** Points remaining after distribution.

The result may be announced before settlement finishes. Check for **Settlement Complete** or **All Refunds Complete**. Once processing finishes, click **Create New Prediction** to prepare the next one.

A separate past Predictions list is not currently available. Confirm that settlement is complete before starting another Prediction.

The full pool of submitted points is distributed among viewers who chose the correct outcome, in proportion to the points each of them submitted. Payouts include the original points submitted. Fractional points are rounded down. If nobody chose the correct outcome, all participants receive a full refund.

### Cancel a Prediction and refund points

If the question is incorrect or the outcome cannot be determined, you can cancel before confirming the result.

1. Click **Cancel Prediction**.
2. Read the confirmation and click **Cancel and Refund**.

<figure><img src="https://887091347-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWZ2iWAPtBWVHYoDD4Mt6%2Fuploads%2FnwKyduY2XxfISF06AsMi%2FScreenshot%202026-10-22%20at%201.57.14%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=2d20db7b-3a5a-4387-baa6-bc1e83fe4d51" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. Check the settlement status until refunds are complete.

Cancellation refunds all points submitted by participants. Once you confirm the result and settlement begins, you cannot use this process to cancel the Prediction or change the correct outcome.

### Before and during your stream

* Explain the question, outcomes, success criteria, and deadline before starting.
* Distinguish the entry period from the challenge deadline.
* Check the actual outcome again before confirming it.
* If the result cannot be determined, consider cancellation and refunds before confirming a result.
* Check that settlement or refunds are complete before ending the stream.
